Golf Solitaire is a card game where you must clear the board by removing cards that are one more than, or one less than, the value of the card on top of the waste pile.
The aim of this classic solitaire card game is to move all thirty-five cards that are initially laid out on the tableau onto the waste pile. Golf solitaire is won when all cards have been removed from the tableau.
A card at the bottom of a column can be moved when has a value of one lower or one higher than the card currently showing on top of the waste pile - the suit does not matter.
For example, when the five of Hearts is face up on the waste pile, you can play a four or a six of any suit onto it, provided it is the bottom card in the column.
Remove as many cards from the table as you can. When no more cards can be played, turn over a card from the stock pile to hopefully enable you to continue. If no more moves can occur and the stock pile is emptied, then the game is over.
This version of the game could be considered easy mode because it allows Queens to be played on to Kings. It also lets you turn the corner by building Aces onto Kings and Kings onto Aces, which is commonly called Putt Putt. There are no Jokers used as wild cards in this version.
Just as in the sport of golf where players aim to complete the course with the lowest score, your challenge here is to complete the game in the fewest moves.
